The Miracle of Archangel Michael at Colossae, also known as the Miracle at Chonae, is commemorated by the Orthodox Church on 6 September.

According to Orthodox tradition, a church dedicated to the Archangel Michael stood near a miraculous spring in Phrygia, in Asia Minor. When enemies attempted to destroy the church by diverting rushing waters toward it, the holy Archangel Michael appeared and protected the sacred place, causing the waters to flow into a fissure in the rock.

This powerful miracle is remembered as a sign of heavenly protection, intercession and the strength of faith.
